Vascular Access training - AVF & AVG (virtual)

This course will address the different types of arteriovenous fistulas (AVF), endo-AVFs and arteriovenous grafts (AVG).

You will learn how to perform a clinical examination to search for complications, and assess maturation.

Furthermore, complications and how to manage them will be explained.  

Specifications

This module is intended for:

  • Starting and experienced dialysis nurses:
    • Who want to gain a deeper level of knowledge about AVF, endo-AVF and AVG
    • Who want to develop and enhance their cognitive, technical, and non-technical skills to an advanced level to lead a nursing team
    • Who want to join or establish a vascular access team

The full course will last approximately 120 minutes.

This course will be hosted in 3 different languages: English, French, and Dutch.
