For Nipro Europe Group Companies, we are looking for a SAP SD Specialist who is experienced, hands-on, and communicative to join us in our SAP team, based in our EMEA headquarters office in Mechelen, Belgium.
About the role
SAP SD Manager will be a part of SAP Center of Excellence team, providing SAP SD services to all members of Nipro Europe Group Companies.
The person in this role has an end-to-end knowledge of several functional/technological area of SAP SD and corresponding business processes, but also has general knowledge and understanding of main business processes covered by SAP solutions and is able to design and implement integrated cross functional flows.
SAP SD Manager will build up and maintain the Sales & Distribution template solution across business units and will apply their knowledge by designing, reviewing, implementing and testing solutions for the business in the corresponding area, but also by challenging and enhancing partner's solutions.
How you will contribute
SAP maintenance and support (20%)
Identify and implement solutions in the SD area related to an evolving regulatory environment, business development and simplification initiatives.
• Optimize the system usage and help the business to use the application in a more efficient way.
• Provide support and assistance to users, diagnose and resolve system issues in cooperation with external SAP partners. (in case of L3 or P1 incidents)
• Identify recurring issues, analyze and propose solutions for the root cause.
• Align solutions to SAP release and project / support schedules.
• Maintain the template solution for SD.
• Assess, approve and follow up emergency access requests related to the assigned functionality.
• Assess content, analyze impact and approve transport requests ready for production deployment in their functional area.
SAP Projects (60%)
Act as template keeper during projects: protect and enforce the template and contribute to template development based on gained experience of roll out projects.
Organize and execute fit-gap analysis with business stakeholders for template rollout projects, capturing and documenting gaps.
Propose and develop, where necessary, solutions to gaps.
Keep the project manager informed about project progress and issues.
Provide accurate task estimations and follow the project implementation schedule.
Perform SIT and key user training
Capture business requirements, translate them into a requirement document so our implementation partner can do the implementation.
Keep standard and SAP best practices in mind.
Organization and Processes (20%)
Analyze existing processes and suggest improvements basing on their experience and vision.
Document changes according to the change management policy.
Transfer to key users the necessary knowledge be able to use the application in a correct manner.
Create user manuals and maintain the knowledge base.
Help key users to test the system and to realize system acceptance.
Set priorities appropriately, ensure that work outputs of the assigned area's team are timely and of the highest quality.
Keep up to speed with SAP new technologies
What you bring to Nipro
• You obtained a Bachelors or a Masters Degree in Business Management, IT or Finance
• You have at least 3 years of SAP SD experience (Contracts, Quotes, Orders, Intercompany, Export, Consignment, Pricing, Delivery process, Billing),
• Having SAP S/4HANA experience is an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate (end to end) with other SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, PP).
• You’re able to communicate and translate IT talks into business language
• You have excellent planning & organization skills
• You have a proactive and out of the box mindset
• Being able to read/debug ABAP and (if needed) provide minor coding changes is an asset.
• SDLC - hands-on experience through phases of the systems development lifecycle (SDLC) from analysis, to designing, customizing (configuring), testing, data mapping/conversion, performance tuning and documentation
• You demonstrate flexibility and mobility to optimize contact with the different business units and entities
• You are able to work effectively and efficiently toward goals in a complex, diverse environment with multiple and changing demands
• Translating business requirements into a strategical project-plan is your key strength
• Languages: English is a must, any other language is a plus
