Plenary session: 2-day VAS-hosted Expert Class on Hemodialysis Vascular Access Ultrasound & Radiography Endovascular Interventions
On June 5 and 6, 2024
Vascular Access Society will host its in-person expert class on Hemodialysis Vascular Access Ultrasound & Radiography Endovascular Interventions for doctors at iMEP, the medical training center in Belgium. There will be a high-level plenary session, hands-on practice on different phantoms, and case presentations by the international faculty with world-famous key opinion leaders.

Purpose: To obtain knowledge and hands-on training of ultrasound & endovascular intervention of hemodialysis vascular access (preoperative vessel mapping; stenosis detection; endovascular intervention)

- Upper extremity vascular anatomy
- Preoperative vessel assessment
- Patient selection for percutaneous VA
- Ultrasound imaging of complicated VA
Day 2 - June 6, 2024 | 9:00am - 10:30am (CET) Expert presentations
- Indications for endovascular VA intervention
- Enhancement of AVF maturation
- Intervention for AVF and AVG stenosis & thrombosis
- Cephalic arch & central vein obstruction
