To accommodate our growth, we are looking for a dynamic, hands-on SAP PP/QM consultant based at our EHQ in Mechelen.

 

About the role

We are looking for a SAP PP/QM consultant with broad technical and functional knowledge in the area of Supply Chain Operations. The ideal candidate would either be experienced within SAP PP/QM or eager to learn SAP PP/QM. A technical background and some experience with SAP is required. We are looking for a person who likes to collaborate with local and international people.

In this role, you will report to the SAP CE Manager and support Nipro’s Digital journey and migration to S/4HANA. You will develop and maintain the PP template solution for all factories of the group with a focus on pharmaceutical packaging industry.

 

What you'll do

  • Act as PP/QM template keeper during S/4HANA projects: protect and enforce the template and contribute to template development based on gained experience of roll out projects.
  • Perform fit-gap analysis for template rollout projects.
  • Propose and develop, where necessary, solutions to gaps.
  • Provide accurate task estimations and follow the project implementation schedule.
  • Keep the project manager informed about project progress and issues.
  • Identify and implement SAP PP/QM solutions related to an evolving business development, regulatory environment, and simplification initiatives.
  • Provide support and assistance to users, diagnose and resolve system issues in cooperation with external SAP partners.
  • Align solutions to SAP release and project / support schedules.
  • Optimize the system usage and help the business to use the application in a more efficient way.
  • Document changes according to the change management policy.
  • Transfer to key users the necessary knowledge and be able to use the application in a correct manner.
  • Create user manuals and maintain the knowledge base.
  • Perform all tasks in accordance with ISO and JSOX quality requirements and taking Nipro values into account.

What you'll need

  • You have a technical background and some experience with SAP.
  • You have functional knowledge on Supply chain operations.
  • Experience in SAP Manufacturing and Quality Management solutions experience (SAP PP/PP-PI and QM and/or PM) is an asset.
  • You are eager to learn S4Hana.
  • You have an understanding on defining/planning and implementing solutions based on requirements driven by support and project initiatives.
  • You demonstrate ability to integrate (end to end) with other SAP modules (MM, SD, FICO) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
  • You have hands-on experience through phases of the systems development lifecycle (SDLC) from analysis, to designing, customizing (configuring), testing, data mapping/conversion, performance tuning and documentation.
  • Your ability to read/debug ABAP and (if needed) provide minor coding changes would be an asset.
  • You have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • You’re able to solve problems, you have an analytical mindset.
  • You are customer minded.
  • You have good organization and project management skills.
  • You’re able to communicate and translate IT talks into business language.
  • You have a proactive and out of the box mindset.
  • You demonstrate flexibility and mobility to optimize contact with the different business units and entities.
  • You have a university degree or the equivalent by experience.
  • Your SAP S/4HANA experience would be an asset.
  • Languages: English is a must, any other language is a plus.
