In this context, we are looking for a dynamic, Technical Service Engineer Benelux in Nipro Medical Europe.

About the Role

As Technical Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical training, support and maintenance of the dialysis machines and water treatment systems in the Benelux region. Besides visiting our clients to maintain and repair their Nipro equipment, working as a teamplayer will be an integral part of your role as you will be supporting your team members in presentations and testings of machines and disposables. Furthermore will you will work in close contact with the overall technical department in order to get all information that is needed to successfully build up and develop technical services among your customers. This position reports to the Technical Service Manager Benelux.

What you’ll do

  • Provide technical support and advice to our customers with hands-on trainings and development of training materials
  • Organize technical introduction trainings about the Nipro dialysis equipment and Nipro Pure Water products
  • Be responsible for the complete technical set up including technical coordination of implementation of dialysis machines and Nipro Pure Water products
  • Be in charge of the integral assembly of new dialysis- and water treatment system installations
  • Repair the dialysis machines and water treatment systems according to customers’ needs in case of technical problems, such as machine defects
  • You are in charge of scheduling and executing the maintenance activities according to the agreements made with the customers
  • Take care of the required administrative tasks such as drafting & processing service reports in the Technical Service Database
  • Participate in an 24/7 on call duty based on equal distribution within the team
  • The employee performs all tasks in accordance with ISO quality and JSOX requirements, whilst always taking Nipro values into account

 

What You’ll Need

  • You hold a degree in biomedical technology and/ or you have experience as Technical Service Engineer for dialysis and water treatment systems
  • You get energized from working independently and taking responsibility
  • You demonstrate great flexibility and irregular work hours do not scare you
  • You thrive in an entrepreneurial environment where autonomy and initiative taking is required
  • Curiosity & willingness to learn: You are willing to follow both internal and external training courses related to the position.
  • You have solid planning and time management skills
  • You are hands-on and stress resistant
  • You have a driving license
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent command in Dutch and French is required, as well as a good command in English
