We are looking for a Business Unit Director Vascular who is passionate, agile, and strategic to join us in our Vascular Business Unit team. This position can be remote, from anywhere in the EU or UK.

About the role

You will be responsible for implementing Nipro Medical Europe’s commercial strategies in the EMEA territories and maximizing NME’s sales. You will manage all Nipro Vascular sales and clinical employees in the EMEA and work with Nipro Vascular’s strategic business partners. This role requires compliance with Quality System requirements and environmental, health, and safety policies. You will also manage cultural differences and challenges, and help shape the direction of the business, treatment choices, and new technologies.

What you’ll do

  • Achieve revenue and profitability targets in the region
  • Develop and implement effective expense budgeting and sales forecasting processes
  • Monitor, guide, and coach the sales team to improve selling skills and productivity
  • Manage distributor business relationships
  • Handle finance, HR, and quality reporting
  • Identify and manage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in key EMEA markets

What you’ll need

  • 10+ years of experience in sales and marketing management
  • Strong skills in strategic planning, leadership and team management, sales and marketing expertise, communication and relationship management, analytical and budgeting skills, adaptability and problem-solving
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of the medical device industry
  • Willingness to travel 50% - 75% a year
