Security awareness advisory
In a message to all parties who may be involved in purchase orders from Nipro, we would like to advise you to always check with a known or verified Nipro contact before proceeding with the purchase order. It has recently come to our attention that there have been purchases made in the name of Nipro by parties acting in a fraudulent manner.
Domain names which include the word “nipro” have been registered abusively. Such domain names have been used by person(s) who deceptively used the name of Nipro group companies as the employer and contacted target companies to defraud them of their products.
So far, the following fraudulent acts have been confirmed:

Email addresses which have the domain names “niprocorp.com” or “niproeurope.co.uk” (example: *******@niprocorp.com) are used to contact target companies.

Person(s) use the fictitious name “Purchasing Department of Nipro” as if the person were an employee of Nipro group companies, and orders products of the target companies.

The email communication is elaborate, pretending to be a real business email with the intent of a purchase transaction, and uses a fictitious address in the United Kingdom.
Nipro and its group companies are not related to any of the above domain names or any other such fraudulent registrations. Please note that under no circumstances shall Nipro be held liable or responsible for any claims, direct or indirect losses, damages, expenses, or other inconvenience resulting from or in any way connected to the actions of these imposters.
