Surdial X can perform high volume HDF with the highest substitution volume possible using Nipro’s Max Sub function. To perform HDF it is necessary to use a HDF bloodline. How to line the machine with this bloodline and to prime it using the online pump is shown in this video.

This video explains the Clean Treatment Start (CTS) which allows the user to start a treatment without giving the priming solution to the patient even though both bloodlines are connected to the patient’s access.

How does that work? Clean Treatment Start allows the UF pump to remove the priming solution from the bloodline.  This way no drain bag is necessary. This makes the patient connection easy and causes less waste. This animation explains in detail how CTS works.

This video offers step by step guidance on programming Surdial X. It shows how to set the main parameters for a dialysis treatment in the UF menu, the dialysate menu, the Dose Detector and other screens.

This video explains Nipro’s unique Dialysate Infusion Function. This functionality allows us to use dialysate for more than just passing the dialyzer. We can use it for priming, for a bolus and for the reinfusion after dialysis. Accordingly saline bags are no longer needed, which is good from a cost perspective, for the environment and for easier handling. This animation explains in detail how DIF works.

In many dialysis units single needle double pump (SNDP) is not performed on a regular basis. Accordingly it can be cumbersome to prepare this rarely used bloodline for treatments due to the lack of routine. This video offers step by step guidance on the setup of a SNDP bloodline and priming it with Nipro’s DIF function.

Returning the blood of a patient at the end of therapy is frequently done using a saline bag or the built-in online pump, which requires an extra pump segment. Surdial X can return the blood using the dialysate infusion function with no extra disposables needed. As outlined in our DIF video it will simply rotate the UF pump in the opposite direction and reinfuse the blood using dialysate. Nipro’s Surdial X can be primed using the Dialysate Infusion Function, but of course it can also be primed using normal saline. How to setup a bloodline and prime it with normal saline is shown in this video.

In this video we would like to show how to set up Surdial X and prime it with DIF, Nipro’s unique Dialysate Infusion Function. Dialyzer and bloodline are primed with dialysis fluid. No online bloodline or saline bag is necessary.

After treatment end bloodline and dialyzer are still filled with a blood-fluid mix. Surdial X can drain the blood circuit and with that reduce the weight of the garbage. In this video we show you how to drain both, a DIF and a HDF bloodline.
