Reverse-osmosis-purified water, called permeate, is the foundation of haemodialysis. Compared to a healthy person who drinks 14 L of water each week, the flow rate of dialysis fluids during treatment is around 500 mL per minute, requiring 300 to 600 liters of permeate per week, per patient. Newer modes of treatment call for injecting dialysis fluid into the patient’s bloodstream, requiring even higher standards of purification and reliability to keep treatments safe and effective.
Anticipating the evolving needs of dialysis care, LiniXia has been developed with feedback from clinic technicians and healthcare teams. Continuous Permeate
LiniXia minimizes downtime with smart warnings management, automatically restarting when the power returns after an outage, automatically switching on command from double to single stage. Permeate production can also be started with an emergency override key. Heat disinfection is confirmed by A0 target, while a conductivity target setup ensures customizable permeate conductivity.
Optimized Resource Use
LiniXia’s tank fills and heats only when required, and otherwise remains empty, optimizing power usage. Tank water volume is adjustable, optimizing water usage. Frequency-controlled pumps provide permeate adapted to demand. LiniXia can provide up to 90% yield of permeate.
